![]() ![]() However, I do want to point out that your email correspondence may have been with a scammer. I know nothing about Macs, so can't really answer your OS question. So, is PSE 13 really never going to work in this computer? And then of course I'd have to learn to run a new editing program, as weell as learning new stuff in all the programs I use daily. I see upgrading to PSE 2021 will require a system update to my computer which will leave me with a ton of other things that won't work and another giant PITA. If this is indeed the case I'm going back to using PSE 8 on my 12 year old computer which is all working just fine. Yet I can find no confirmation online that PSE 13 will NOT work with Mojave. ![]() If it's possible, please assist in helping me get my software working again." Thank God my 12 year old computer in the attic still worked and had Elements 8 on it so I was able to get some work done and meet a deadline. I can't get past "Serial Number Validation Please connect to the internet to validate your serial number". ![]() One helpful person gave me instructions to run some sort of Microsoft tool to fix the problem. I saw the two logos that indicated I could connect to Adobe. In a help forum I was given a link to verify that my computer could reach the Adobe system. I ALREADY had to verify and input the serial number to get the program to install in the first place (repeatedly until it finally worked). Please connect to the internet to validate your serial number" This brings me to a window that says "Serial Number Validation. This takes me to the Adobe Software License Agreement, I accept. I click "sign in now" and log in with my Adobe ID (I had to create a new password since after several years I had no idea what my old PW was). Enter Adobe ID to register your product." Signing in with anĪdobe ID is required to activate the software. ![]() Now, when I launch the program I get a window that says "Sign in Required. ALL my software reinstalled and works fine except Elements 13.Īfter about 100 tries I FINALLY got it to install. I had reason to initialize my computer and start from scratch. "I have been using Elements 13 for several years in this computer. My original question explained what was happening: So, you can able to start your work in a proper way." so, we can do is we provide you the Photoshop Elements 2021. If you will try to install or update it further, then it will create conflict with your system. "We would like to inform you that PSE 13 is too old and no longer available and supported Adobe and Secondly PSE 13 servers have been shut down. AFter trying many solutions from Adobe and others in these forums I contacted their help via email and received this: I'm trying to help and its fine to ask - but this is an Epson support question really, it's not a Photoshop issue.I've had quite the runaroudn trying to get Elements 13 to work again (it worked in this computer for years). Look at Epsons instructions for the paper and see if a certain ink is needed (Matte or Photo Black) Screenshots would help, please place them in your reply like I did, there's a place image button in the menu above the reply field for that. Maybe you have the wrong black (K) ink selected, there are 2, Matte or Photo Black (K) If so it may be something to do with the paper feed option you've selected Or maybe the "Fine Art Paper" section listed but it's greyed out? Once you've done that, is canvas not listed in media types? If you're using sheets, then plainly that's what you'd select under "Paper size" The roll setting and media selection was coincidental, my screenshot was intended to show the list of media types avaiable on Epson printers when the proper Epson driver is used. I was able to replicate your settings if I chose "roll paper" under paper size, however, I print on sheets of Epson Exhibition canvas and when I chose the front load thick paper option that these sheets require, I am not able to select canvas. Google me "neil barstow colourmanagement" for lots of free articles on colour management Neil barstow, colourmanagement net :: adobe forum volunteer If it’s the correct answer please mark it as such You will only find Epson manufactured medias and maybe a few others that Epson sell under licence listed in that Media Type pull down menu - see screenshot below The Epson printer driver the Media Type pull down menu does not show a list of ICC profiles, it shows a list of Epson media types by name. You can't see the ICC profile name under "media type? (printer setup -> print settings -> layout -> printer settings -> media type) I take it you mean that you can select the Epson ICC printer/paper profile as expected under "Photoshop Manages Color"? I have installed an Epson printer driver to reproduce what you should see. I have High Sierra here, so I can see what you see, ![]()
